Janna’s Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Janna’s world famous roasted red pepper hummus—at least in our world. You will never buy store bought hummus again. Ingredients do matter so we’ve shared our favorite brands for this recipe below.

2 boxes Jack’s Quality garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
½ cup Once Again Tahini
1 ½ tsp himalayan salt
2 tsp Whole Foods 365 Garlic Granules (not from Costco—the Kirkland brand tastes bitter and taste burnt to us)
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 large Divina Organic Roasted Red Peppers, rinsed and patted dry
2 or more meyer lemons, squeezed, or any lemons (add more if hummus is dry)

Place all ingredients in your Cuisinart with the rotary blade and blend for 3-5 minutes for creamy and delicious hummus. If preferred, top with Maldon sea salt flakes, dried red pepper flakes and/or pumpkin seeds. Bon appétit! We find all needed ingredients at Whole Foods or online at Thrive Market.
